NORSK™ Foam Flooring Warranty

1. NORSK™ Foam Mat products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of the original retail purchase. The word "defect" is defined as imperfections that impair the use of the product. Defects resulting from misuse, abuse or negligence will void this warranty. This warranty does not cover defects due to alteration or accident. This warranty does not cover damage caused by vandalism or "acts of nature" or any other event beyond the control of the manufacturer.
2. This warranty is non-transferable and is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of defective products. All defective products are to be returned to the Retailer where they were originally purchased and are to be subjected to that specific Retailer's return merchandise policy and agreement on file with The Parallax Group International., LLC.
3. This warranty does not cover scratching, scuffing, tearing, cosmetic damage, or other wear and tear resulting from normal use of the product. In addition, any damage resulting from intentional damage, negligence, or unreasonable use will void this warranty. NORSK™ Foam Mats are not designed nor warranted for use in permanent exterior installations (permanent defined as more than 24 hours).
4. Liability for incidental or consequential damages is excluded to the extent permitted by law. While every attempt is made to embody the highest degree of safety in all products, freedom from injury cannot be guaranteed. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from the use of this product. The purchaser should pay special attention to all codes, laws, specifications and ratings for products specifically used in play areas, playgrounds, and other recreational uses where the safety of children and others are concerned. The user assumes all risk of injury resulting from the use of this product. All merchandise is sold on this condition, and no representative of the company may waive or change this policy.
5. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for use. Neither The Parallax Group International, LLC. or any representative assumes any other liability in connection with this product.

A SALES RECEIPT MUST ACCOMPANY ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS. REPORT PRODUCT DEFECTS TO THE RETAILER WHERE PRODUCT WAS ORIGINALLY PURCHASED.

Warranty Exclusions:

• Any/all labor costs for installation of original or replacement materials.
• Color variegations due to production run differences or exact color, shade, or mottling.
• Any/all damage resulting from improper installation or failure to follow recommended installation instructions.
• Any/all damage caused from improper use of chemicals and/or cleaning agents.
• Any/all damage caused by moisture, hydrostatic pressure, or alkali from the sub floor.
• Damage resulting from shoes such as golf spikes, high heels, or spiked shoes.
• This product is not recommended for use in where food preparation takes place such as commercial kitchens. This flooring is not compatible with cooking oils and liquids from vegetable fats - These materials are not compatible with this flooring and can cause injury from slipping and unwanted microbial growth by impregnating the floor surface.
• Any/all damage resulting from the use of incompatible chemicals such as methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) or Acetone. Adequate testing of all chemicals potentially exposed to the flooring should be conducted prior to installation.
• NORSK™ Foam Flooring is not intended for outdoor installation - particularly in environments where there is exposure to liquids and potentially slippery areas. It is NOT recommended for use in commercial kitchens.
