Shipping & Return Policies

You can cancel an order within 30-minutes of placing your order without a cancellation fee. Any order cancelled after the 30-minute period is subject to a 5% cancellation fee for the total value of order cancelled. No order is cancellable after it enters shipping process. Orders are processed in our system within 30-minutes of ordering.
Back orders can be cancelled without penalty unless they have shipped.
Sales Tax is only charged on California shipped to addresses.
If order includes "Free Shipping"
"Free Shipping," Means that NORSK™ will pay for basic shipping costs to the "Ship to" location in the 48 Continental United States. Excludes Alaska, Hawaii, Canada and Puerto Rico.
LTL Truck Shipments
If the order needs to be shipped LTL Freight Truck NORSK™ will pay all basic freight costs.
What determines if my order needs to go LTL Truck Shipping?
NORSK™ PVC Flooring tiles are very heavy and weight will in most cases determine shipping method. Since many items from the NORSK™ Store are "Free Shipping" NORSK™ determines which freight is most cost effective. A good rule of thumb is if you are ordering Less than (28) boxes of tile it will ship either FedEx or UPS Ground. If you are ordering More than (28) boxes it will ship LTL Truck. Retail customers will have all basic costs covered. What "basic" costs cover is shipment to your location. If shipped LTL, the trucking company will call to set up delivery and it will bring it directly to your location. However, you will be required to unload the boxes once it gets to your location.
NORSK™ Overhead Storage: Single units will be shipped via ground. 5 or more units will be shipped on Pallets via LTL Truck and all includes all rules outlined to LTL shipments.
Effective 01/01/2012 - A buyer may incur additional delivery fees if:
- A refused delivery (with no damage) will result in a 25% charge of the total order.
- If a lift gate is requested for unloading ($35)
- Address change after order is placed ($25)
- Inside Delivery is required ($75)
- Or any other cause which results in additional handling cost from the freight carrier
If you require a lift gate or want inside delivery you must speak to a sales representative prior to shipment otherwise you may not get your order delivered correctly.
Same rules apply regarding shipping LTL except you need to notify your sales representative whether the sale ship to address is a commercial or residential address.
Commercial delivery address: If you have a commercial business address, and are recognized as a commercial address by freight carriers then there will be no additional delivery fees charged.
Residential delivery address: Orders shipping LTL Freight Truck to residential address will incur additional residential delivery fee of $55.00 (most cities). Please speak to your sales representative.
- All LTL Freight Truck deliveries whether a commercial address or residential will ship on Pallets. If you do not request Optional Lift Gate service the buyers will be expected to unload truck themselves.
- Pallets Usually contain 890-928 sq ft. each
- Tile Orders that are equal or less than (25) boxes will usually ship UPS or FedEx Ground
- Tile Orders over (25) boxes will usually ship LTL Freight Truck (residential orders will have a $55.00 additional delivery fee, certain cities require additional charges) Make sure you charge your customer accordingly.
- NORSK™ Overhead Storage Units: All orders over 4 units will ship LTL and all LTL rules apply.
Estimated Shipping Time Frames
We use business days as defined as not a weekend or holiday for shipping days. NORSK™ ships out of Irvine, CA. Orders could take as long as 6 business days to East Coast.
Tile Orders equal to or under 25 boxes: We ship most of these orders by UPS or FedEx Ground within 24-48 business hours after receiving an order. Delivery can vary depending on shipping location from 1 to 5 business days from shipment date. Most to all ground orders will receive tracking number via email provided on order.
Tile Orders over 25 boxes: These orders usually ship LTL Truck with carrier to be determined by NORSK™. Orders that need to ship LTL usually ship within 48-72 business hours from order. Carrier will call customer to set up delivery so email tracking is not provided.
NORSK™ Overhead Storage: Single units will be shipped via ground. 5 or more units will be shipped on Pallets via LTL Truck and all includes all rules outlined to LTL shipments
Shipping Outside the Continental U.S. 48 states, International Orders
Please read carefully if you are ordering outside the United States. We will accept and fulfill orders on a case by case basis for all originating orders in Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico but will have to quote shipping charges and get your approval prior to shipping. If you are from another country, we can accept orders via email at our discretion. Most International orders would require the customer to use a freight forwarding company in the United States, NORSK-Stor.com would only accept wire transfer of funds for these orders. In some cases, we can ship product direct to that country. Please email your address, country of origin and product(s) you would like to purchase. We can then advise of the process to purchase. All sales are final on International orders, no returns or refunds. You should also be advised most warranties are not valid outside the United States, if they are valid you may be responsible to ship product to service organization in United States.
These orders are subject to increased shipping fees and in some cases these Countries will collect duties on merchandise that enters these Countries. We are not responsible for outlining any taxes, duties or custom broker fees by any Country outside the USA.
Duties, Taxes, Tariffs, Brokerage fee's and all other applicable fee's that may be charged upon entry of our shipped product to Canada is the sole responsibility of the customer and is NOT included in the flat shipping cost.
Credit Card Charges
Please be advised that your credit card statement will be processed through NORSK™. The statement will read The Parallax Group. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover. Please be advised if you request an alternate address to "Ship to" other than "Bill to" that your bank may require that the "Ship to" address be on file with your issuing bank. The charge may be declined if the "Ship to" is not on file with the bank. Please contact your issuing bank to have them put on file your alternate address and try the order again.
Fraud Protection System
NORSK-Stor.com can not prevent fraudulent parties from placing orders on our web site however we will do our best not to process and ship any fraudulent orders. We have a proprietary screening method on all orders and fraudulent orders are flagged for investigation. In some cases, we will ask for printed identification before processing and shipping orders.
We guarantee that any purchases made at NORSK™ will arrive in good condition, please open and inspect merchandise immediately. All items are priced and shipped carrying full insurance. In the event that an item is not in good condition, please email us, at email@example.com for replacement or repair information. You must notify us within 5 business days from receiving if a product is damaged, defective or has missing parts. After 30 days we are not responsible for defective or damaged products.
Our Return Policy
E-mail your Request for a return authorization to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests must be made within 5 days of receipt of product. All defective returns are for an exchange only and include shipping back to you but do not include shipping of items to us. For non defective returns, products must be factory sealed, unopened and returned freight prepaid to our warehouse.

We will not issue a return authorization for opened merchandise for non defective products. For defective returns, we will issue a return authorization upon your explanation of defect. Refunds for non defective items that are unopened will be given after receipt at our warehouse and verification that the product is factory sealed. Refunds or exchanges for defective returns will be given after product is returned freight prepaid and defect(s) are verified by our technicians or staff. Some unopened non defective returns on items are subject to a restocking fee of 15%.
For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or FedEx insured for return shipment. Please insure the order for the full amount of your purchase. Please check with us on the proper address to return merchandise. You must furnish a tracking number via email to email@example.com for a proof of shipment for all returns.
International Orders, all sales final, no returns or refunds.
