Installation InstructionsCar Cover Care & MaintenanceCongratulations on the purchase of your new Norsk™ Car Cover. Pay special attention to the following recommendations for care and maintenance in order to protect the cover and extend the life of the product: InstallationThe cover should be unrolled over the top of the car – paying special attention to the orientation labeled on the cover as “Front”. The cover should be unrolled down the entire length of the car (those cars with adjustable side mirrors should have the mirrors folded in to prevent potential damage). The cover should be pulled down to cover the entire front end over the car and then to the rear of the car as well. To use the lock and cable, use the instructions enclosed. Car Cover RemovalTo remove the cover simply reverse the installation procedures and then lift the cover edges up towards the car roof, continuing to fold up the edges to form a narrow band. Fold the cover up as tightly as possible, making sure that the cover will fit into the Car Cover bag provided for storage. CleaningNorsk™ Car Covers should be washed by hand with a mild liquid detergent/soap such as Woolite. Use a sponge to wash and then rinse thoroughly to remove all soap or detergent and then allow the cover to air dry thoroughly. Do not machine wash or dry. Washing the cover on the vehicle may be easier – in order to clean both sides simply wash one side thoroughly and allow it to completely air dry prior to flipping the car cover over to wash the other side. Paint ProtectionIt is not recommended to use a car cover on any vehicle that has been painted in the last 90 days – car paint should cure for a minimum of 90 days prior to using a cover. State RequirementsSome states require that the license plate of all vehicles be exposed outside the car cover – it is strongly recommended that you consult the legal authorities in your state prior to using the cover. |
