What is Responsible Sourcing?
A responsible sourcing program helps to eliminate sustainability risks in the supply chain. It is designed to protect both customers and consumers to make sure that the product they choose is sourced from responsibly managed resources and responsible suppliers.

Why it matters to us? A secure supply of high-quality raw material ingredients is essential to ensuring the long-term sustainability of our business. Our responsible sourcing program plays a key role in achieving this. This is accomplished by taking the proper steps of insuring where our ingredients come from and how they are produced as well as addressing environmental, social issues and human rights. Through these practices, we can have a positive social and environmental impact on the countries and communities we work with.

In 2007, The Parallax Group International set out to create an environmentally sustainable flooring product. We also has a goal in mind to go well beyond the typical “feel good” marketing approach used by others utilizing a small percentage of recycled material along with a gimmicky label to make it appear socially responsible as a member of the vendor community. Our commitment was to do something more profound and genuine - something that would reap tangible benefit in doing our part to help leave this planet a better place for future generations.
